Dolce Pavlovas brings Venezuelan desserts + café vibes to Homewood

Dolce Pavlovas, a new bakery and café in Homewood, is serving up handcrafted Venezuelan desserts and café favorites.

A Sweet Homewood Welcome

The bakery is run by Reina Perez and her husband, who previously owned a restaurant in Venezuela. They moved to Birmingham to start this new culinary venture, bringing flavors from their homeland to the neighborhood.

Pavlovas Take Center Stage

The star of the menu is the pavlova, a meringue-based dessert with a crisp exterior and soft, marshmallow-like center, topped with whipped cream and fresh fruit. Available in classic, Nutella, caramel, and Black Forest flavors, the desserts come in sizes ranging from bite-size minis to 16-inch treats.

More to Enjoy Beyond Desserts

Dolce Pavlovas also offers fresh salads, sandwiches, and drinks including lattes, cappuccinos, and flavored matcha. Additional desserts include custard, 3 Milk Cake in a jar, and mini or full-sized tarts in chocolate, strawberry, or passion fruit.

Visit Dolce Pavlovas in Homewood: 1919 28th Ave S, Homewood, AL 35209. Open Monday–Saturday, 3PM–9PM, and Sunday, 8AM–6PM.
