Edgar’s Bakery has officially opened its seventh Birmingham-area location, bringing its beloved cakes, pastries, and Southern-style meals to Pelham.
The new bakery sits at 2824 Pelham Parkway, directly in front of the Pelham Public Library, and celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday.

While Edgar’s is best known for its beautifully crafted cakes and cupcakes, the menu extends far beyond sweets. The bakery serves a full lineup of breakfast and lunch favorites, offering something for every taste.
Breakfast highlights include eggs benedict, loaded breakfast bowls, pimento cheese biscuits, omelets, and pancakes. For lunch, guests can choose from 14 grilled sandwiches, such as the classic reuben, fried green tomato BLT, and the “grown-up” grilled cheese. The menu also features bagels, pastries, and assorted breads—all made fresh daily.
Of course, no visit to Edgar’s is complete without dessert. From cookies and cheesecakes to the bakery’s signature layered cakes, there’s a treat for every occasion.
