Einstein Bros. Bagels, a nationally recognized bagel cafe chain, is planning to open two new locations in the Birmingham metro area. The openings will mark the chain’s return to the region after a previous location on the UAB campus closed.
New Locations Announced
One location will open at 450 Cahaba Park Circle in Cahaba Heights, while the other is planned for 1543 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills. Both sites are currently listed on Einstein Bros.’ corporate website as “coming soon.”
The chain already operates locations in Troy and Mobile, and the new restaurants will expand its presence in Alabama. Earlier expansion plans in Birmingham had been announced in 2013 but never materialized.
