Encore Rouge moves closer to Downtown Birmingham

A popular local restaurant known for its Southern and Cajun-inspired comfort food is relocating from Birmingham’s Southside to the heart of downtown.

Move to Two North Twentieth

Encore Rouge will lease a 3,200-square-foot space on the ground floor of the Two North Twentieth building, a 17-story office tower located at 2 20th Street North along Morris Avenue. The restaurant has spent the past three years at The Waites apartment building on Richard Arrington Boulevard, following its start as a food truck in 2022.

Larger Space, Growing Demand

The new downtown location will give Encore Rouge more room to serve its growing customer base. Harbert Retail, which represented the landlord in the deal, announced the move and praised the restaurant’s energy and contribution to Birmingham’s dining scene.

Fan-Favorite Menu

Encore Rouge is best known for its bold, comfort-driven dishes, including Bourbon Street Shrimp, Bayou Burgers topped with shrimp and smoked gouda, and Mom’s Famous Chicken Salad. The expanded location will allow the restaurant to continue growing while keeping its signature flavors at the center.
