Hunan Garden, a beloved Chinese restaurant serving the Birmingham area for more than 13 years, has closed its doors.
Closure Leaves Community in Sorrow
The restaurant, located at 1851 Montgomery Highway in Hoover, shut down earlier this year. Its phone number has been disconnected, and Google now lists it as permanently closed.
Menu Favorites Remembered
Hunan Garden offered classic Chinese dishes including seafood, pork, chicken, and beef, alongside soups and appetizers. Longtime patrons fondly remember Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, sesame beef, and other specialties.
