Former Vice President Kamala Harris will make a second appearance in Birmingham this fall after overwhelming demand for tickets to her upcoming book tour event.
High Demand at the Alabama Theatre
The Alabama Theatre announced Saturday that the initial Oct. 17 event sold out quickly after tickets went on sale Friday. In response, organizers added an earlier appearance at 5 p.m., in addition to the original event, which has been shifted from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A Book with National Impact
Each ticket includes a copy of Harris’ new book, 107 Days, published by Simon & Schuster. The memoir recounts her campaign against Donald Trump following President Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race. Harris is expected to reflect on her experiences, challenges, and lessons learned during that pivotal period.
Birmingham Among Tour Cities
Birmingham is one of 15 stops on Harris’ nationwide tour. According to event organizers, she will share her perspective on the political landscape and discuss what it will take to move the country forward. The Alabama Theatre’s added show ensures more locals will have the chance to take part in the conversation.
