Los Valedores, the beloved Birmingham food truck, has officially opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant, giving fans a new spot to enjoy authentic Mexican flavors.
From Truck to Table
For nearly six years, Los Valedores’ iconic blue food truck served the Greater Birmingham area with fresh, authentic Mexican street food. Owner William Perez built a loyal following with dishes like carne asada tacos, chicken burritos, tortas, and a famous green hot sauce.
Expanded Menu and Seating
The new storefront, located at 301 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, allows Los Valedores to expand its menu and seating capacity. Guests can enjoy favorites such as elote, gorditas, tostadas, tlacoyos, sopes, flautas de pollo, and refreshing drinks in a comfortable restaurant setting.
A Community-Focused Dining Experience
Los Valedores emphasizes more than just food—it’s about hospitality and connection. The restaurant aims to make every guest feel like part of the family, continuing the spirit of community that made the food truck a local favorite. Hours are Monday-Tuesday 10:30AM–5PM, Wednesday-Thursday 10:30AM–10PM, and Friday-Saturday 10:30AM–11PM.
