Mumford & Sons are bringing their 2026 tour to Alabama in support of their new album, Prizefighter, with a Birmingham stop set for this fall.
Birmingham Tour Date and Ticket Details
The band will perform Sept. 29 at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater, joined by the Marcus King Band as the opening act. The 7:30 p.m. show marks the only Alabama date on the North American leg of the tour.
Tickets range from $39.50 to $159.50, with presales beginning Feb. 25 and general sales opening Feb. 27 through Ticketmaster. Fan club members through AGORA receive early access ahead of the public onsale.
New Album: Prizefighter
Released as the band’s sixth studio album, Prizefighter follows 2025’s Rushmere and features guest appearances from Hozier, Chris Stapleton, Gigi Perez and Gracie Abrams.
In a message to fans, the band said they are “massively humbled and grateful” for continued support and believe they have “something to share” with the new record. Singles released so far include “Rubber Band Man,” “Prizefighter,” and “The Banjo Song.” The group is also scheduled to appear as musical guest on Saturday Night Live on Feb. 28.
A Familiar Stop in Alabama
Formed in 2007, Mumford & Sons rose to prominence with 2009’s Sigh No More and the hit single “I Will Wait,” later earning Grammy recognition for albums like Babel. The band has a history of Alabama performances, including shows at Oak Mountain
Amphitheatre, Legacy Arena, and two 2025 concerts at Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville.
With more than 40 dates scheduled worldwide, the 2026 tour underscores the band’s continued global draw — and their eagerness to share new music they say they’re proud of.
