Downtown Birmingham now has a dedicated spot for late-night sweet treats. Nightcap, located just across from Bamboo on 2nd, officially opened this weekend, serving locally made desserts, coffee, and a wide selection of drinks.
A new post-dinner destination
Nightcap was created to fill a gap in Birmingham’s dining scene, where dessert options after dinner were limited. The lounge caters to both after-dinner cravings and late-night snacks for the city’s nightlife crowd.
Local flavors and partnerships
While Nightcap doesn’t produce desserts in-house, it features a menu entirely sourced from local Birmingham bakers. The owners partnered with nearby artisans to provide a variety of treats, emphasizing the city’s culinary talent.
Hours and location
Nightcap is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., located at 2225 2nd Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203.
