Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is a premiere eatery in the Highway 280 community, offering casual Friday Lunch and grand dining nightly. Perry’s is a great place to meet friends for dinner and a wonderful place for celebrations, dates, business lunches, and much more. Known for its steaks (thus the name), Perry’s is also famous for its delicious and tender pork chop that is so big you need a steak knife to eat it. You may find you need a to-go box unless you bring a huge appetite.

Perry’s is known for upscale dining, and it boasts 4 dining rooms, an island bar with dining tables, and an outdoor patio. The award-winning menu is absolutely perfect for any celebration — or just because. They offer dinner daily and lunch on Fridays only, and on some special occasions, but a reservation is always a good idea because of their popularity, especially for dinner.
You can do dining room or bar dining and private room dining (reservations required), and they even offer special seating for seniors over 65 with a limited menu and reduced pricing before 6 p.m. in the evenings. Again — reservations are highly recommended. Love their food but need to take it home? They do offer “take out” in the form of “car side catering.”
What’s so special about Perry’s? The service is impeccable, and everything I’ve ever eaten here is special — high-quality and inspired recipes and presentation. Perry’s offers fine dining in a business-casual atmosphere. And yes, I have seen well-behaved children here, but it is not a restaurant that necessarily caters to children.
Visiting Perry’s Steakhouse
Recently, my husband and I went for lunch for his birthday. We had to have a starter, and salads are fantastic here, but the soup was calling our name on the cold day we visited. You cannot go wrong with the lobster bisque, my absolute favorite, even more so than some I’ve had at beach establishments, and my husband chose the classic French onion soup.
Entrees
For entrees, I chose the ribeye – medium well, with whipped potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious and prepared to my liking. My husband had that giant porch I mentioned before, and it was so thickened and flavorful but huge. He brought half of it home. He had the whipped potatoes, also— they are so light – and Brussels sprouts. I personally am not a fan, but I tasted his, and EVEN the Brussels sprouts were delicious — no bitter aftertaste.
Starters
For starters, if you like, you can enjoy that soup that we had or choose Perry’s Signature Fried Asparagus, several seafood offerings like Calamari, tuna, and crab cakes, as well as Truffle Spinach & Artichoke Dip and even Escargot. Did I mention a shrimp cocktail or a cold seafood tower?
Soups and Salads
Soups and salads on the menu include the lobster bisque and French onion we ate on our visit. However, several signature dishes like Perry’s Signature wedge and Butcher’s Chopped salad round out an extensive menu of soups and salads to meet any taste.
Main Courses
Moving on to the main courses, I cannot say enough about the numerous steaks and the tenderness and flavor of my ribeye on my last visit. Honestly, I could almost have cut it with a fork. But that pork chop — which is what my husband wanted for his birthday – these pork chops are several inches thick, hand selected in the Midwest specifically for Perry’s, sweet, smoky, sizzling and cured, roasted, slow-smoked and caramelized, served with homemade applesauce, dairy-friendly with modifications (which might include butter).
Vegetarian Options
Yes, there are vegetarian options if you prefer, and gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu for your convenience. Vegan offerings include the Spaghetti Squash Primavera but may include butter and/or cheese.
Seafood
In addition to an extensive steak menu, Perry offers great seafood selections, including snapper, salmon, sea bass, shrimp, “catch of the day,” and redfish, and you can get the best of both worlds with a surf and turf option.
Sides
Perry’s offers some great chicken, such as “Chicken Oscar,” which includes crab meat topped with Bearnaise sauce and served with steamed asparagus. You can certainly order additional sides with your menu choice. Perry’s offers “sides for two” for sharing, including potatoes, mushrooms, corn brûlée, Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese, spaghetti squash, grilled vegetables, and more.
Dessert
And you must at least share a dessert! We were so stuffed we shared fantastic creme brûlée. Still, other options are chocolate crunch tower, seasonal cheesecake, Rocky Road bread pudding, and a dessert trio as well as “flaming desserts.”

For information on pricing for lunch and dinner, as well as special curbside catering, early dinner for seniors, and special offers such as the Valentine’s Day menu, see the website where fully downloadable menus with pricing and photos are available. (By the way, our special birthday lunch came in at approximately $98 plus tip.)
And now that I JUST found out about the special early dinners for those over 65 (my husband now qualifies us), I may be getting to go back to Perry’s a little more often. I can only hope.
