Pies and Pints, a pizza restaurant on 20th Street South in Birmingham, has closed its doors, according to a social media announcement.
Closure Announced on Social Media
The restaurant shared the news on Facebook late Monday morning, Oct. 20, noting that the Birmingham location would remain closed. The team encouraged patrons to continue supporting local businesses whenever possible.
“Please remember to shop and dine at local businesses whenever you can, it’s a tough time for everyone in this industry right now,” the post read.
A Thank You to the Community
In the same post, Pies and Pints expressed gratitude to its Birmingham patrons:
“To our Birmingham, AL community – THANK YOU. Thanks for celebrating with us, laughing with us, and letting us be your favorite local place to grab a slice and a beer. If you’re ever down in Montgomery, we’d love to see you at our location there.”
Montgomery Location Remains
Pies & Pints originally opened its Birmingham location in 2016 at Station 121, offering pizza, sandwiches, salads, and 36 taps. The Montgomery location now serves as the only Alabama site for the Ohio-based chain, which also operates in Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.
