A new burger spot has opened in Birmingham’s Lakeview district! Located at 3507 6th Ave S, Vito’s Burger Joint serves burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, and franks.
New Restaurant, Familiar Faces
According to an interview with owner Vito Rosato, Vito’s Burger Joint is operated by the same team behind the former Sneaky Pete’s in Lakeview. After running the franchise for over 30 years, Vito and his wife Tricia decided to open their own restaurant to offer more menu flexibility and personalized service for longtime customers.
Menu and Signature Dishes
The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, featuring sandwiches, franks, smoked sausage, chicken fingers, and the standout Classic Burger. Unlike typical fast-food burgers, the beef is freshly ground from a local butcher, seasoned, and cooked to order. Customers can also request off-menu items if ingredients are available.
