A northeast Alabama manufacturing facility is growing. Choice Fabricators has announced a $15 million expansion at its Rainbow City plant, creating 30 to 40 new jobs.
Major Equipment Upgrades
The investment includes two 1,500-ton large-bed transfer stamping presses and advanced automation technology. These upgrades will expand production capacity, reduce turnaround times, and support larger, more complex projects for customers.
Leadership Praises Growth
CEO David Chadwick called the expansion a “transformative step forward” for the company. “These new capabilities allow us to scale production to new heights and support complex, large-scale projects that our customers require,” Chadwick said. He also thanked Rainbow City leaders for their support.
Community and Economic Impact
Rainbow City Mayor Joe Taylor said the project reflects the importance of supporting existing businesses as much as attracting new ones. “By nurturing the roots already planted, we strengthen our foundation, ensuring that economic growth benefits everyone,” Taylor said.
Founded in 1979, Choice Fabricators now operates with more than 380,000 square feet at its Rainbow City facility.
