PNC Bank has rolled out a 30-foot mobile branch in Birmingham, bringing banking services directly to underserved neighborhoods.
Services on Wheels
The branch on wheels will allow residents to open accounts, apply for loans, credit cards, and mortgages, and conduct in-person transactions typically available at a traditional branch.
Community Stops
The mobile branch will rotate among local organizations including Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank, Alabama Goodwill Industries, The Dannon Project, and Daniel Payne Legacy Village, with plans to add more community locations weekly.
Expanding Financial Access
PNC aims to expand its community impact by meeting people where they live and work. The bank already operates mobile branches in cities such as Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, and Houston, often partnering with local organizations for financial wellness programs.
