Two Birmingham-based firms are working together on a major residential and mixed-use development in New Port Richey, Florida.
Major Southeast Development Project Underway
Dobbins Group, a Birmingham real estate investment company, is partnering with Capstone Building Corp. to develop Charleston Ridge Apartments. Dobbins Group is leading the development, while Capstone Building Corp. serves as the general contractor.
Construction has already begun, and completion is expected next year. The project reflects continued expansion by Birmingham companies into high-growth markets across the Southeast.
Large Apartment Community with Mixed Uses
Charleston Ridge Apartments will span about 247,000 square feet and include up to 224 residential units. The development will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment layouts.
The plan also includes six two-bedroom townhomes and more than 10,000 square feet of commercial space. Buildings will rise four stories and include a range of modern housing features.
Amenities and Growth Focus
The development will feature amenities designed for modern living. Plans include a clubhouse with a fitness center, lounge areas, a tenant market, and a large pool. The property will also offer more than a dozen electric vehicle charging stations.
Company leaders said the project responds to job and population growth in the New Port Richey area. They emphasized a focus on delivering high-quality housing through strong partnerships and long-term investment strategies.
The residences will include upgraded interior features such as walk-in closets, smart locks, stainless steel appliances, and glass walk-in showers.
