Birmingham welcomes its 5th Einstein Bros. Bagels

Birmingham-area bagel fans have another spot to grab breakfast as Einstein Bros. Bagels opens its fifth location in the metro area.

New Einstein Bros. Location Opens Near Trussville

The newest Einstein Bros. Bagels shop is located at 1430 Gadsden Hwy., Suite 100, near the I-459 Trussville exit. The opening gives Birmingham-area residents another option for bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and other morning favorites.

For years, Einstein Bros. products were available through local Publix stores, but standalone locations were less common in the Birmingham market. That has changed significantly in 2026 as the brand continues its local expansion.

Einstein Bros. Expands Across Birmingham in 2026

The latest opening brings the total number of Einstein Bros. Bagels locations in the Birmingham metro area to five. The expansion is part of a broader growth strategy for the chain, which has announced plans to add hundreds of locations across the country in the coming years.

The restaurant is known for a variety of bagels and breakfast options. Popular menu choices include the Asiago Cheese Bagel, Blueberry Bagel, Pretzel Bagel, and All-Nighter Egg Sandwich, along with specialty coffees and teas.

Where to Find the New Bagel Shop

The newest Birmingham-area Einstein Bros. Bagels is located at 1430 Gadsden Hwy., Suite 100, near Trussville. The location is open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., making it an option for both early-morning breakfast runs and midday meals.

More information about the menu, locations, and hours can be found on the Einstein Bros. Bagels website and social media pages.

Birmingham’s Growing Bagel Scene

The arrival of another Einstein Bros. location comes as Birmingham’s appetite for bagels continues to grow. The city also recently welcomed Alabama’s first PopUp Bagels location at The Summit.

Local favorite Crestline Bagel has also built a following among Birmingham residents, with locations serving the downtown, Mountain Brook, and Cahaba Heights communities. The growing number of bagel-focused businesses gives residents more choices when looking for a fresh breakfast or quick morning bite.
