Birmingham shoppers will soon have a new fashion destination as British clothing brand Boden prepares to open its first Alabama store at The Summit.
Boden Expands Its U.S. Presence
The Summit recently announced Boden’s arrival through a social media post featuring the brand’s signature pink and green stripes. The upcoming Birmingham location marks another step in the retailer’s U.S. expansion.
Founded in the United Kingdom in 1991, Boden is known for colorful designs, bold prints, and timeless clothing collections. The company offers apparel for women, men, and children. It also emphasizes durable fabrics and responsible sourcing to create pieces that last beyond seasonal trends.
The Birmingham store will become only the third brick-and-mortar Boden location in the United States. The retailer already operates a store in Atlanta and plans to open another location in Nashville before the Birmingham launch.
What Shoppers Can Expect
The new store will bring Boden’s signature British style to local shoppers. Customers can expect a selection of everyday clothing, workwear, casual styles, children’s apparel, and seasonal collections.
Construction is already underway inside the shopping center. While the company has not announced an official opening date, it expects to welcome customers before the end of Fall 2026.
Where the New Store Will Be Located
Boden will open at 200 Summit Boulevard, Birmingham, AL 35243. The storefront sits between Fabletics and Altar’d State in the center of The Summit shopping district.
The new location gives Alabama shoppers their first opportunity to visit a Boden retail store without traveling out of state. It also adds another nationally recognized fashion brand to Birmingham’s growing retail scene.
