Beef O’ Brady’s Brook Highland location closes

The Beef O’Brady’s location in Birmingham’s Brook Highland area has officially closed, with the company citing lease issues as the reason for the sudden shutdown.

Closure Details

The restaurant, located along U.S. 280, announced that it would not renew its lease after failing to reach new terms with the landlord. The closure took effect immediately on March 30, 2026. Company representatives described the decision as difficult, noting that negotiations did not lead to a workable agreement.

Impact on Employees and Customers

Employees affected by the closure have been offered opportunities to transfer to other nearby locations. The chain confirmed that its Hoover and Helena restaurants will remain open and continue serving customers in the Birmingham metro area.

In a message shared with the community, the restaurant expressed appreciation for years of customer support. The statement thanked guests for their loyalty and reflected on the role the location played in the neighborhood.

Continued Presence in the Area

While the Brook Highland location has closed, Beef O’Brady’s continues to operate in the region through its remaining locations. Customers are encouraged to visit those sites as the brand maintains its presence in the Birmingham market.
