ForgeFlex, a flexible workspace and storage company based in Chelsea, is preparing to launch a 42,000-square-foot facility designed for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and storage needs.
Flagship Project in Chelsea
The new development, set to open later this year, combines workspace, storage, and small bay industrial units. The facility will feature luxury flooring, large windows, upscale landscaping, ADA-compliant amenities, and ample parking.
Tenants will be able to use the space for both business operations and storage of vehicles such as boats or RVs.
Built for Entrepreneurs
CEO Zachary Lauderdale said the concept is “built for the bold,” catering to home-based business owners, tradespeople, and small business operators who need flexible, professional space.
The project blends traditional small bay units with a modern, retail-ready design intended to appeal to ambitious entrepreneurs.
Expansion Plans
ForgeFlex envisions this Chelsea development as the first of many similar projects in the Birmingham metro area, Huntsville, and other parts of Alabama.
Lauderdale emphasized the company’s goal of creating a recognizable brand with upscale, functional workspaces for innovators and disruptors across the state.
The facility represents part of a growing trend toward flexible office and storage solutions in Alabama, responding to demand from remote workers, startups, and small business owners.
