Bandido Coffee is relocating from its current alley-side spot behind Sanpeggio’s in Five Points to the former What’s On 2nd space.
Expansion to Brunch & Social
Owner Raul Chavez will also launch a new concept called Bandido Brunch & Social in the adjoining space. The brunch spot will operate daily and offer a mix of classic brunch dishes alongside Latin-inspired menu items and drinks.
Latin-Inspired Coffee & Pastries
Since opening in spring 2024, Bandido Coffee has introduced Latin flavors to traditional coffee offerings, including the horchata and the Mark Cuban Cuban coffee. The café also serves pan dulce, a sweet Mexican pastry not commonly found in other local coffee shops.
Revitalizing a Local Corner
Chavez said in an online interview that he was drawn to the location’s potential as a community gathering space. The corner, previously home to Fuego and later What’s On 2nd, has seen businesses come and go, and Chavez hopes his expansion will help bring renewed energy to Five Points South.
