Birmingham has a new destination for seafood lovers.
Little Betty Sea Bar has opened its doors in the Lane Parke development in Mountain Brook, bringing a menu that highlights fresh seafood, sushi, and premium meats in a sophisticated yet inviting setting.
A Coastal-Inspired Dining Experience
The restaurant’s menu features a range of seafood specialties including seared lobster tail, crispy whole branzino, shrimp toast, grilled prawns, oyster shooters, and elegant sushi creations.
Wagyu beef and other premium ingredients round out the offerings, which the owners describe as “a love letter to the coast.”
Background and Ownership
Little Betty Sea Bar was developed as a companion to Little Betty Steak Bar, which opened in December 2023 next door. Both restaurants share executive chef Kyle Biddy, an Atlanta native with experience in New York City’s Catch Hospitality Group.
The establishments are owned by Atlanta-based Revival Restaurant Group, which also operates Southern Kitchen & Bar and Uptown Cantina in Birmingham.
Menu Highlights and Dining Details
Appetizers at Little Betty Sea Bar range from $8 to $35, while sushi offerings cost $12 to $30. Entrees are priced between $28 and $65, with special items like the Millionaire Fish Sandwich and Maine Lobster Roll priced at $40 and $42.
Wagyu beef or lobster tail prepared tableside on a hot stone ranges from $30 to $45, and whole branzino is available at market price. Wine, cocktails, and other beverages complement the menu.
The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, from 5 to 10 p.m., and reservations can be made through OpenTable.
The interior, designed by Helen Hanavich of Atlanta, features a light and airy aesthetic with blush, green, red, and tan accents, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners.
Little Betty Sea Bar held a “friends and family” preview over the weekend before its official opening, giving guests a first taste of the elevated menu and lively ambiance.
