A popular Thai restaurant in Hoover has reopened after a brief shutdown, restoring its full service and regular hours for customers.
Thai Restaurant Returns to Hoover Food Mart
Blue Pacific has resumed operations at Hoover Food Mart on Lorna Road after temporarily closing in mid-March. The restaurant reopened on April 15 and returned to its standard lunch and dinner schedule.
The family-owned business, operated by the Aroonsakulwongse family, serves traditional Thai dishes made from authentic recipes. The restaurant is known for its coconut soup, basil fried rice, dumplings, and a variety of curry-based meals.
Menu Features Traditional Thai Favorites
Blue Pacific offers a wide selection of classic Thai dishes prepared fresh daily. Popular items include red, green, yellow, and massaman curries, along with noodle soups and stir-fried rice dishes.
The menu also includes appetizers such as spring rolls, fried dumplings, and wontons. Guests can choose from multiple protein options, including chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, or tofu, depending on the dish.
The restaurant also features daily specials throughout the week, highlighting dishes like beef noodle soup, pork noodle soup, and basil-based stir-fries.
Hours and Dining Details
Blue Pacific operates Tuesday through Saturday for both lunch and dinner service. Lunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The restaurant remains closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Located at 3219 Lorna Road in Hoover, Blue Pacific continues to serve as a long-standing local favorite for Thai cuisine in the Birmingham metro area.
