Birmingham’s Five Points South neighborhood will soon welcome a new restaurant offering around-the-clock dining.
Karma’s Kitchen Opens This Month
Karma’s Kitchen will celebrate its grand opening on July 31, 2026. The new diner will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving residents and visitors another late-night and early-morning dining option.
Owner Dan Williams, who also owns Dave’s Pub, is bringing the concept to 1210 20th St. South. The restaurant is located between Ocean Restaurant and Dobber’s Five Points Pub. It occupies the former space of 5 Point Public House & Oyster Bar.
Affordable Meals Around the Clock
The diner plans to focus on affordable comfort food throughout the day. Guests can order breakfast, lunch, and dinner at any hour.
The menu will feature burgers, patty melts, nachos, quesadillas, and chicken fingers. During lunchtime, Karma’s Kitchen will also serve meat-and-two plates from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The restaurant will not offer alcoholic beverages.
Grand Opening Set for July 31
Karma’s Kitchen expects to welcome its first customers on July 31. The restaurant plans to announce its official opening time closer to the event.
The addition of a 24-hour diner brings another dining option to the popular Five Points South district, an area known for its mix of restaurants, nightlife, and local businesses.
