A fast-growing custom hat retailer has officially opened its first Alabama location at The Summit in Birmingham.
Arizona Brand Expands Into Alabama
Rancher Hat Bar, a Scottsdale-based boutique known for personalized hats and accessories, has opened at Birmingham’s popular outdoor shopping center, The Summit. The store allows customers to design custom hats by selecting styles and adding decorative accessories for a personalized look.
The boutique offers options for men, women, and children. Customers can visit through walk-ins or book private events for weddings, corporate gatherings, bachelorette parties, and other group celebrations.
Personalized Shopping Experience Gains Popularity
Rancher Hat Bar launched in Arizona in 2023 and has expanded quickly across the country. The company now operates about 15 locations nationwide, including stores in Nashville, Charleston, and Savannah.
Its custom shopping model focuses on letting customers create one-of-a-kind hats with unique accessories and styling options. The concept has become increasingly popular as shoppers look for more personalized retail experiences.
The Summit Continues Retail Expansion
The opening adds to a growing list of new businesses arriving at The Summit in Birmingham. The shopping center has continued expanding its retail lineup throughout 2026 with several new brands and store updates.
BeautySpace recently partnered with Belk to offer beauty and skincare products inside the department store. Additional businesses, including Aritzia and PopUp Bagel, are expected to open later this year. Lifestyle brand Vuori has also joined the shopping center’s growing roster of retailers.
The continued additions reflect ongoing growth at one of Birmingham’s largest shopping destinations.
