A longtime Birmingham-area Mediterranean restaurant is preparing to reopen in Pelham after closing its previous location last year.
Popular Local Restaurant Returns to Shelby County
Joseph’s Table, known for its Mediterranean and American dishes, plans to reopen at North Pelham Square next to Pub 261. The restaurant previously operated in Chelsea for nearly 20 years before unexpectedly closing in 2025.
The new location will continue serving many of the restaurant’s longtime customer favorites, including roasted lamb, gyros, chicken kabobs, and other Mediterranean specialties. The new address is 9340 Helena Road in the Birmingham metro area.
Family Recipes and Customer Favorites
Joseph’s Table has built its reputation around family recipes and a personal approach to cooking. Customers frequently praise the restaurant’s homemade flavors, desserts, and welcoming atmosphere.
Online reviews often highlight menu items such as the Italian cream cake and fried kibbi. Diners also mention the restaurant’s owner, Joseph, for offering menu recommendations and creating a friendly dining experience for guests.
New Chapter for a Birmingham-Area Favorite
The reopening marks a fresh start for the locally owned restaurant after its longtime Chelsea closure. Fans of the restaurant have continued to support the brand and look forward to seeing it return in a new location.
With its mix of Mediterranean classics and comfort food favorites, Joseph’s Table hopes to reconnect with longtime customers while introducing new diners in Pelham to its menu and family-style hospitality.
