Straight Mountain Foods, a Birmingham-based food truck and catering business, is expanding into a brick-and-mortar location with a new restaurant called Redemption in Trussville. The new space marks a step forward for the growing business as it broadens its presence beyond its mobile operations.
A New Concept Beyond the Food Truck
Unlike the food truck’s current Southern fusion offerings, Redemption will introduce a more traditional “meat-and-three” dining experience. The lunch menu will focus on classic comfort-style plates, while the dinner menu is expected to feature an expanded selection of dishes. This shift allows the business to serve a wider range of customers while maintaining its Southern roots.
Location and Expansion
The new restaurant will be located at 885 Gadsden Highway in Trussville. The move represents continued growth for Straight Mountain Foods as it transitions from a primarily mobile and catering operation into a full-service restaurant concept.
With Redemption, the team aims to create a consistent dining destination that complements its existing food truck offerings while introducing a more structured menu format for daily service
