Del Mar Marisquería opened earlier this month at 7100 Aaron Aronov Drive in Fairfield. The restaurant sits near the recently opened Milo’s location, adding to growing development in the area.
The concept highlights authentic Mexican seafood dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The restaurant name translates to “From the Sea Seafood Restaurant,” reflecting its coastal culinary focus.
Menu Features Mexican Coastal Favorites
Del Mar Marisquería offers a wide range of seafood-based dishes. The menu includes ceviches, shrimp cocktails, lobster, aguachiles, and Cajun-style boils.
In addition to seafood specialties, the restaurant also serves traditional Mexican-American dishes such as fajitas. A full cocktail menu complements the dining experience, offering a variety of mixed drinks for guests.
One standout feature is its signature appetizer presentation. Instead of traditional chips and salsa, guests are served ceviche topped with marlin on a large tortilla-style chip.
Hours and Dining Experience
The restaurant operates with extended evening hours throughout the week. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, it stays open until 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. respectively.
