Scenthound Expands to Cahaba Heights
The new Scenthound location will be at 3169 Green Valley Road in Vestavia Hills, near popular Cahaba Heights-area destinations including Mudtown and Brick & Tin. The expansion will give local dog owners another place to take care of their pets’ regular grooming and hygiene needs.
Scenthound takes a wellness-focused approach to dog grooming, emphasizing routine care that helps pets stay clean and comfortable rather than focusing solely on traditional haircuts.
Dog Grooming Services Focused on Everyday Wellness
The company’s core services include bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and teeth brushing. Additional services, such as blow-drying, haircuts, and other grooming treatments, can also be added based on a dog’s needs.
The concept was developed around the idea that every dog needs basic hygiene care, even when a breed does not regularly require a haircut. Scenthound encourages pet owners to make these services part of a consistent wellness routine.
A Growing Birmingham-Area Pet Care Option
The Cahaba Heights shop will become Scenthound’s fifth location in the Birmingham metro area, continuing the company’s expansion throughout the region. Its approach combines grooming with routine hygiene care and aims to make regular maintenance more convenient for dog owners.
Scenthound was originally founded as a mobile grooming business before expanding into brick-and-mortar grooming locations.
