La Paz is permanently closing its Mt. Laurel restaurant after nine years of serving the Birmingham-area community.
La Paz Announces Mt. Laurel Closure
The Mexican restaurant recently announced that its Mt. Laurel location will not reopen following ongoing repairs. The restaurant had temporarily closed last month while work was underway.
However, La Paz confirmed that the Mt. Laurel location will remain closed even after the repairs are completed. The business thanked local customers for supporting the restaurant throughout its nine-year run.
A Decade of Local Memories
Over the years, the Mt. Laurel location became a destination for a wide range of celebrations and everyday meals. Customers visited for birthday parties, team dinners, family gatherings, school reunions, and wedding celebrations.
The restaurant also hosted Tuesday Trivia, which became a regular activity for local patrons. La Paz said the location created many lasting friendships and memories during its time in the community.
Other La Paz Locations Remain Open
The closure only affects the Mt. Laurel restaurant. La Paz continues to operate locations in Mountain Brook and Ross Bridge, giving Birmingham-area customers other options to visit the longtime Mexican restaurant.
The Mt. Laurel closure marks the end of an era for the restaurant and its Dunnavant Valley customers. Meanwhile, the remaining locations will continue serving the Birmingham community.
