A popular breakfast and brunch chain is expanding in the Birmingham metro area with a new location opening in Alabaster’s Shoppes of District 31 development.
First Watch Opens New Alabaster Location
First Watch will begin service on Monday at 725 1st Street South in Alabaster. The restaurant is located in the new Shoppes of District 31 development, one of the city’s largest mixed-use projects.
The 4,400-square-foot restaurant seats more than 170 guests and includes a covered patio and bar area. It is one of the first tenants to open in the $242 million development, which continues to add national retail and dining brands.
Brunch Menu and Seasonal Dining Concept
First Watch offers a breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu featuring items such as avocado toast, farmhouse hash, lemon ricotta pancakes, and its signature Million Dollar Bacon. The restaurant also serves sandwiches, salads, and rotating seasonal dishes throughout the year.
The Alabaster location will introduce its first seasonal menu update this fall, continuing the brand’s focus on fresh, rotating offerings.
Part of a Growing National Chain in Alabama
The restaurant is part of a national chain with more than 600 locations across 32 states. The new Alabaster site adds to First Watch’s growing presence in the Birmingham metro area.
To celebrate its opening, customers dining in during the first week will receive unlimited Project Sunrise coffee with their meal. The restaurant will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will employ about 30 staff members.
