Truckworx opens door to its $6.8M corporate headquarters

Heavy and medium-duty truck dealer Truckworx has officially opened its new $6.8 million corporate headquarters in Birmingham.

The project, first announced last year, held a grand opening earlier this month and is designed to support the company’s growth while uniting its leadership team under one roof.

A Modern Hub for Operations

The 12,000-square-foot facility, built by Dunn Construction, houses Truckworx’s accounting, IT, HR, support services, and executive leadership.

Located at 2224 24th Avenue North, directly across from the company’s flagship dealership on Finley Boulevard, the headquarters was created to accommodate future expansion and streamline corporate operations.

Economic Impact and Jobs

The Birmingham Business Alliance highlighted the new headquarters as a major win for the city, noting that the project will create 52 high-paying jobs.

Over 20 years, the economic impact is estimated at nearly $3.5 million. The project received $441,799 in incentives from local and county governments, including sales and property tax abatements.

Company Background

Founded in 1978, Truckworx operates 23 locations across Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. The company considered several locations for its headquarters but ultimately chose to remain in Birmingham.

CEO and President Will Bruser emphasized that the new headquarters reunites the corporate team, which had previously operated from a Homewood office, and provides room for continued growth.

The project was supported by the Birmingham Business Alliance, the City of Birmingham, and Jefferson County, reflecting ongoing community and economic development in the region.
