A new high-end wellness and medical spa facility is planned for Homewood after a multimillion-dollar building permit was issued for construction of a modern, multi-story healthcare center.
New Three-Story Wellness Facility Planned in Homewood
A $7.3 million building permit has been issued for the Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, which will be built at 2714 20th Street South in Homewood. The project is being developed by Pylon Building Group and will replace the existing Metcalf Realty building on the site.
The new structure is planned as a three-story Class A medical office building designed to support a mix of healthcare and wellness services. Once completed, it will serve as a modern medical hub focused on patient-centered care and integrated treatment options.
Expanded Focus on Functional and Aesthetic Medicine
Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, founded by Dr. Farah Sultan, will offer a range of services centered on functional medicine and wellness-based care. The practice includes treatments such as hormone therapy, weight loss programs, regenerative medicine, IV nutrition therapy, and body contouring services.
Additional offerings will include skin rejuvenation procedures, injectables, and laser-based aesthetic treatments. The third floor of the new building will serve as the primary location for the practice, while remaining office space will be available for other medical providers.
Investment Reflects Continued Growth in Homewood Healthcare Sector
The project is part of a broader wave of high-value construction activity across the Birmingham metro area. It is one of several permits exceeding $1 million issued recently, with Homewood continuing to see increased investment in medical and professional office development.
Once completed, the Vitalogy Wellness Center is expected to expand access to specialized wellness and medical services while adding new professional space to the local healthcare market.
