KidsXpress Urgent Care opening in Birmingham
KidsXpress Urgent Care is set to launch a new clinic at 300 Doug Baker Blvd., Suite 200, with opening currently expected in late July 2026.
The facility will serve patients from infancy through age 21 and aims to provide an alternative to long emergency room wait times for non-life-threatening conditions.
Services focused on common childhood illnesses and minor injuries
The clinic will treat a range of everyday pediatric conditions, including fevers, flu, colds, stomach illnesses, earaches, sore throats, rashes, allergic reactions, dehydration, and minor injuries.
The goal is to provide timely care for issues that do not require emergency-level treatment.
Leadership emphasizes accessible care and community health
The clinic is led by CEO Dr. Felicia Fortune, a local healthcare leader with experience in regional health equity initiatives.
Leadership says the clinic is designed to improve access to pediatric care and support families seeking convenient treatment options outside of hospital emergency departments.
