A major new apartment community has officially opened in Birmingham, adding 475 luxury residences to one of the metro area’s fastest-growing corridors.
Colina Hillside Welcomes Its First Residents
Birmingham-based Dobbins Group has completed Colina Hillside, a new multifamily development at 1121 Colina St. Capstone Building Corp., also headquartered in Birmingham, served as the project’s general contractor.
The community features one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments across four- and five-story buildings. The buildings include elevators and enclosed interior corridors. Their horseshoe layout creates easy access to shared amenities while making the most of the property’s hillside location.
Luxury Features and Resort-Style Amenities
Many apartments include premium finishes such as granite countertops, oversized kitchen islands, custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, hardwood-style flooring, full-size washers and dryers, and spacious walk-in closets. Select homes also feature vaulted ceilings, loft layouts, balconies, or private patios.
Residents have access to a wide range of amenities. Colina Hillside sits just off Interstate 459 and Highway 150 near Hoover. The location offers quick access to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, healthcare, and major employers throughout the Birmingham metro.
Nearby businesses include Starbucks, Sprouts Farmers Market, McDonald’s, and Medical West. Residents are also just minutes from the new UAB Medical West hospital and about a 20-minute drive from downtown Birmingham.
