Food lovers across the Birmingham metro can enjoy special menus and exclusive dining deals as Birmingham Restaurant Week returns for its 14th year.
Ten Days of Local Dining
Running July 30 through August 8, 2026, Birmingham Restaurant Week brings together locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and food trucks from across the region. The annual event highlights the city’s diverse culinary scene while encouraging residents and visitors to support independent businesses.
Participating locations will offer prix-fixe breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, along with select beer, wine, and cocktail specials. Menu prices range from $5 to $50 per person, making it easy to explore new restaurants or revisit local favorites.
Supporting Birmingham’s Local Food Scene
Unlike many food festivals, Birmingham Restaurant Week does not require tickets. Diners simply visit participating businesses during the 10-day event and order from the special Restaurant Week menu.
The event exclusively features locally owned establishments rather than national chains. Organizers say the goal is to showcase Birmingham’s homegrown restaurants while celebrating the city’s growing reputation as one of the South’s premier dining destinations.
More Than Just Great Food
Since its launch, Birmingham Restaurant Week has generated more than $24.5 million in restaurant sales and over $2.2 million in local sales tax revenue. The event has also helped support the community by donating more than $100,000 to Birmingham-area nonprofits focused on fighting hunger and food insecurity.
Over the years, organizations such as Community Kitchens of Birmingham, Manna Ministries, FeedBHM, Firehouse Ministries, and the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama have received support through Restaurant Week proceeds.
Participating restaurants and their special menus are available on the official Birmingham Restaurant Week website, allowing diners to plan their meals throughout the 10-day celebration.
