A taco restaurant in Mountain Brook has officially shut down after operating in the Cahaba Village area for three years, marking the end of its run in the Birmingham-area dining scene.
Condado Tacos Closes Cahaba Village Location
Condado Tacos has permanently closed its restaurant at 2800 Cahaba Village Plaza in Mountain Brook. The location is now listed as closed on major review platforms, and it has been removed from the company’s official website.
The restaurant operated in the Cahaba Village shopping district for three years before shutting its doors. The space previously served as both a taco restaurant and bar, offering a casual dining and nightlife option in the area.
Closure Ends Short Tenure in Mountain Brook
The closure removes one of the more recent additions to the Mountain Brook dining landscape. Condado Tacos had been part of the growing mix of restaurants in Cahaba Village, an area known for retail and food concepts.
No official reason for the closure has been announced publicly, and no information has been released regarding a replacement tenant for the space.
Local Dining Mix Continues to Shift
The closure reflects ongoing changes in the Birmingham-area restaurant market, where concepts regularly open and close as consumer demand and retail trends evolve.
Residents in the Cahaba Village area will now see the former Condado Tacos location remain vacant as the shopping center continues to update its mix of dining options.
